AtTask's New Clik App to Aid Enterprises

Project management software provider AtTask today rolled-out a new desktop application called “Clik,” a product designed for enterprises.

Clik can be used either online or offline and provides executives and project managers with updated data that can be very helpful in making productive decisions, according to the company.

AtTask officials say their company provides on-demand project and portfolio management software. One of the company’s products, @task, facilitates executives by placing business intelligence tools in their hands. It also makes team collaboration accessible to the front line, company officials say.

The company’s platform-independent and multilingual project management software, @task, increases efficiency and productivity for small to medium-sized businesses, officials say.

AtTask’s new application, Clik, is said to be a new desktop extension of @task. The application brings project management to the workforce and also delivers more accurate information to decision makers. It helps users to manage tasks and even updates statuses, without any training even for new users, thereby guarantees implementation success with zero training, according to the company.

“Clik is brilliant because it answers the question of how to successfully involve the workforce in the enterprise project management process without forcing them to learn a new system or overloading them with complexity,” said Scott Johnson, chief executive officer of AtTask.

Johnson added, “This, in turn, gives executives accurate information to work with. After all, without good information, business intelligence becomes ‘business nonsense.”

Clik is said to be built on Adobe AIR technology that works in sync with company’s @task application. The changes or updates that are fed to Clik is said to automatically sync with @task, thereby facilitating managers and executives to view up-to-date information. This feature benefits Clik users, especially those who are offsite, to update task status and thereby be more productive, company officials say.
